cats and birds
They finally caught the cat killer! What a relief! Now I don’t have to sweat over Kitty’s well-being… I hope.
My sister got a bird today after much searching and waiting. On the drive home from Fort Meyers there were tents on the side of the road for baby parrots. The addition to the family is a new Indian Redneck parrot that Jessica wants to name “Denver.” It makes me kind of upset, but now I wonder if it’s only because of the older-sister complex. I told her that since she failed to call it by a cool name, you know, like “Tooty” per say, that I’d just refer to it as “Birdie” as I did with her first bird years ago that she called, “Angel.” Haha, much to my sister’s dismay, even my parents followed suit! Birdie it was!
Today I found out my cousin, Kike, and his girlfriend, Suzy, were engaged, which I didn’t know because apparently my family had no way of communicating that to me while I was in France way back in February. I felt silly when my cousin’s girlfriend was explaining to me details of how she would like her wedding to be, and here I was thinking, “This crazy girl is openly talking about their ‘wedding,’ when my cousin hasn’t even popped the question, hmmm…” Turns out the surprise was really on me! hahaha
Wow, another wedding coming up.
Wow.
I hate your computer, the bird is named Denver because Daddy always used to sing country roads. The end because I’ve tried writing this 3 times already.
